THE HOLIDAY SWAPMaggie KnoxThis is another candidate for my Chatty girl type genre and this one becomes a rom-com twist and lacks a murder, but just barely。 This is a holiday twin switch for work and everyone finds the guy they didn't think was all that and a bag of chips just right for them。 Jingle bells, jingle bells。。。 Another feel-good, holiday-themed romantic comedy about identical twins who are chefs/bakers who own a bakery and one does a TV baking show。 Firemen and doctors。。。 it's all goo THE HOLIDAY SWAPMaggie KnoxThis is another candidate for my Chatty girl type genre and this one becomes a rom-com twist and lacks a murder, but just barely。 This is a holiday twin switch for work and everyone finds the guy they didn't think was all that and a bag of chips just right for them。 Jingle bells, jingle bells。。。 Another feel-good, holiday-themed romantic comedy about identical twins who are chefs/bakers who own a bakery and one does a TV baking show。 Firemen and doctors。。。 it's all good! Stella,
A really forgettable read that could be a great Netflix Christmas movie。 I didn't feel any romantic connection between Cass and Miguel, and between Charlie and Jake。 The guys were just there。 It got really tedious to read basically the same story twice, one from Cass and one from Charlie。 I guess that's why these types of stories are best saved for movies since they can be trimmed and condensed。 A really forgettable read that could be a great Netflix Christmas movie。 I didn't feel any romantic connection between Cass and Miguel, and between Charlie and Jake。 The guys were just there。 It got really tedious to read basically the same story twice, one from Cass and one from Charlie。 I guess that's why these types of stories are best saved for movies since they can be trimmed and condensed。 。。。more
Emily,
Cute, but not my favorite。 I felt like the Austin vs Charlie conflict fell flat, and the Sharon vs Cass conflict was trying to make something out of nothing。

Five things about The Holiday Swap by Maggie Knox 5/5⭐️s1。 This is a 5⭐️ based on feel good vibes and holiday cheer! 2。 While the writing was quality, the dialogue natural, the character growth believable…there’s absolutely nothing original about this twin sister life swap story。 And that’s okay! 3。 This book is EXACTLY what I wanted it to be。 Cheery, endearing, funny, not at all saccharine, comfortably predictable, and abounding in warm fuzzies。 4。 This is a debut holiday romance (appropriate f Five things about The Holiday Swap by Maggie Knox 5/5⭐️s1。 This is a 5⭐️ based on feel good vibes and holiday cheer! 2。 While the writing was quality, the dialogue natural, the character growth believable…there’s absolutely nothing original about this twin sister life swap story。 And that’s okay! 3。 This book is EXACTLY what I wanted it to be。 Cheery, endearing, funny, not at all saccharine, comfortably predictable, and abounding in warm fuzzies。 4。 This is a debut holiday romance (appropriate for all ages) and I hope Knox continues to roll out this kind of read。 I don’t always want a predictable, comforting, contemporary romance but when I do this is exactly the kind of book I’m hoping to find。 5。 If you’re looking for a feel good read - a Hallmark movie premise but with better writing - to read on a plane or by a fire this season then I strongly recommend this one。 I loved it! And I’ll definitely be revisiting it in future holiday seasons。 It’s got reread potential which most holiday books I enjoy rarely have! 。。。more

Cute, light and fluffy holiday romance meets parent trap。 I always love reading about cooking competition shows (and hot firefighters/physician assistants as well)

Kristina Civille,
I really liked the overall plot of this Christmas romance。 It was a fun premise with twins switching places to help each other out。 And while I expect this type of book to be over the top with unrealistic scenarios, this one was just a bit much for me。 I loved most of it, but I found myself also rolling my eyes at some parts。 Overall, I could have done without some parts but I really enjoyed Charlie and Cass。 Their twin sister love made the story!

What an ABSOLUTE delight。 This was my first holiday read of 2021!! Perfect for fans of Hallmark Christmas movies + Flatshare + The Switch。 This book was adorable and I devoured it like the snack it was in one sitting。I was hesitant at first because I thought it was going to be like Freaky Friday and I don’t usually love the switching bodies storyline but it took off like The Parent Trap and I wasn’t mad at all。 My heart was torn in 42 different ways as I was reading because I fell in love with e What an ABSOLUTE delight。 This was my first holiday read of 2021!! This book is “Hallmark Christmas Movie” meets every twin swapping story (Parent Trap anyone?)。 I think if you’re a fan of The Princess Switch movies on Netflix then you will definitely enjoy this book。 I thought it was cute story that I definitely got more into it towards the end。 I’m personally not always a fan of the twin swapping plot in general so that’s what plays into my rating。 But if you’re looking for that cute, holiday, feel good kind of read, this is the book for you。 Thank you to Net This book is “Hallmark Christmas Movie” meets every twin swapping story (Parent Trap anyone?)。 I think if you’re a fan of The Princess Switch movies on Netflix then you will definitely enjoy this book。 I thought it was cute story that I definitely got more into it towards the end。 I’m personally not always a fan of the twin swapping plot in general so that’s what plays into my rating。 But if you’re looking for that cute, holiday, feel good kind of read, this is the book for you。 Thank you to NetGallery for allowing me to read this (and keep on my shelves for too long)! 。。。more

This is a hug of a holiday book。 If you are looking for a clean holiday romance that will leave you with warm fuzzy feelings, this is the book for you。 It reminds me of a Hallmark movie but not as saccharine sweet。
Paulina Clapperton,
Your favorite Netflix or Hallmark movie wrapper up in less than 600 pages。 Very sweet stories and definitely makes you crave holiday sweets every other page。 I liked this book, and it was perfect light reading gearing into the holiday season!
Amy,
I got this because I thought it was the one a Hallmark movie was based on。 While it isn’t, it very much has the Hallmark feel。 Nice, light, clean, and an easy read。
jules,
I came into the book hoping it would be at least as good as a hallmark movie。 Nothing spectacular about the book but I did really enjoy both sisters。 Better than a hallmark movie。 A cute Christmas read!
Britney Dillon,
This book was really adorable。 It was a perfect holiday read。 The characters are well-written and realistic, and I loved how the conflict they experienced had real gravity。 It also did a really nice job of looking at relationships in several forms - siblings, friends, significant others。。。

Definitely not a physician assistant who thinks Cass is Charlie or a firefighter who thinks Charlie is Cass。 This is the perfect Christmas romance book to read。 It's exactly what I was looking for in a book this holiday season。 A cute, entertaining, clean romance with a lot of heart。 As you follow along with Charlie and Cass, you can't help but fall in love with their characters。 They were so well-developed and I loved seeing how similar they were in different ways。 The relationships in this book are absolutely adorable, along with the chemistry and the backstories。 I even ended up enjoying the antagonists in this novel, because, once again, they were so well-written。 This one has a ton of delicious baking recipes, after all, the Goodwin sisters are professional bakers。 So don't read this one on an empty stomach。 This book will bring a huge smile on your face and will give you a giant shove into the Christmas spirit。Overall, this was just the book I needed to start November。 If you're a fan of Hallmark movies, good old switcharoos, and a book that will warm your heart, I highly recommend picking this one up! 。。。more
